CRATAEGI

In Danish, the butterfly is known as "Hvidtjørnens Hvidvinge", a symbol of delicacy. It is depicted as a white butterfly navigating invisible air currents, with an elegant body contrasting against its pure wings, bearing the map of life upon them.

"CRATAEGI" is an audiovisual exploration created by Nes Lerpa and Ejnar Kanding, featuring percussionist David Hildebrandt and interactive imagery by photographer Kim Dang Trong. The performance is an ode to the beauty of the butterfly, reflecting on fragility and resilience through music and visual arts.

Lerpa describes the work as a fusion of painting, music, and photography, while Kanding blends acoustic and electronic elements into a new form of expression he calls "postmodern classicaltronics". The work invites contemplation of ephemeral beauty and the depths of existence.

CRATAEGI
